Hurrah!

During this period, I was invited to conduct mini-seminars on the Profit-Taker Strategies at
various Colleges and Universities throughout China.
At first I thought this is preposterous.
No stock market!
No convertible bonds!
No short selling!
‘So what the heck am I doing conducting Profit-Taker Seminars in the middle of China?'
How wrong I was!
The economic and other students seemed to delight in every word my translator uttered.
This became clear with my first presentation. After an hour or so, I stopped at a point where I
sincerely believed, under the current circumstances, they must have heard enough.
I heard a grumbling.
My translator said the students were appealing to complete the entire seminar.
I love this spirit!
Oh! If only I had been a student like this!
Soon after my early books were published in Mandarin and distributed throughout China.
My how things have changed!
No where have they changed more in such a short time than in China’s market place:
■ The Shanghai Stock Market is now the second largest stock market in the world . . .
With the ensuing global repercussions.
■ Convertible bonds are popular in China. In a nutshell, issuing convertible bonds is now
considered a practical solution to the problem of reducing state ownership in publicly listed
companies. .
■ China now permits short selling and margin lending
All three ingredients needed are now present for the Profit-Taker Strategy . . . The proven,
rapid money-maker in good and bad markets.
The Shanghai Stock Market is also notorious for its volatility . . . Often compared to a roller
coaster.
